We offer personalized attention to the adventure traveler and will do our best to tend to your needs. We specialize in small group adventure tours. Don't hesitate to ask about any tour you would like to try. Most of our trips take place in Vermont though we also have many trips that take place outside of VT. We are BASED in Thetford VT on our 270 acre camp ground. We offer FREE camping with any booked full day activity. We also have Platform tents and Small two person cabins. We have many years of experience taking people on the water and running camps for children. Now we are putting this happy experience to a new use in our family travel, women's travel and kayaking adventures. Our trips are small, intimate and personal. We offer paddling half day, full day, and overnight trips on the Connecticut for up to 10 people that may be scheduled at your convenience. We provide all the necessary equipment and a certified guide/instructor. We can arrange luxury trips based at a beautiful bed and breakfast, or inexpensive trips based at a local camp. We particularly welcome groups of boy scouts and girl scouts, and other organizations for young people. We offer family tours and women's tours on request. The WILDERNESS LEARNING CENTER is a full time school devoted to teaching groups and individuals about the outdoors. Our specialty is wilderness survival. We run programs all year long, both here in New York and at several sites throughout the Northeast. We have Basic, Advanced, Advanced Adventure and Certification programs in wilderness survival.
