Mountain Biking at Mount Snow opens up Memorial Day Weekend. Zoom with a view here at Mount Snow, where we have over 35 miles of mountain bike terrain consisting of single-track, old town roads and ski trails. Just how good is the riding? Good enough to have hosted over 20 National Mountain Bike Series events and a number of World Cups as well. Ride our chairlift on the Canyon Express quad and let gravity do its thing as you descend portions of our serpentine downhill and cross-country courses. Mountain Bike trips are run from the end of mud season in spring through late fall. We supply the mountain bike, helmet, water bottle and guide. Our guides will take you to the best area for your ability level focusing on the aspects of the sport you enjoy most. We can tailor a ride to fit your needs: A relaxing ride on the beautiful back roads of Vermont, or a hard-core downhill thrill on challenging terrain for more experienced riders. Tours run 2-4 hours long. Each tour must have a minimum of 3 people. Mountain Biking

Catamount Outdoor Family Center - Recently, the business became a not for profit with the goal of preserving this valuable property for people to use and enjoy well into the future. Located in Williston, VT on 500 beautiful acres are over 20 miles of professionally designed and maintained trails for both winter and summer use.

Green Mountain National Forest - Mountain bikes, are limited to trails specifically signed open to mountain bikes and Forest Service Roads open to vehicular travel.

Green Mountain Trails  Fun, flowy, varied, beautiful and sustainable singletrack trail network. Over 25 miles of trails and growing. Gravity assisted riding possible. Pittsfield, VT, Open Daily 7 am to Sunset.

Kingdom Trails  Formed in 1994, the Kingdom Trails Association was created to protect, develop, and promote this incredible trail network. To date, Kingdom Trails has mapped and signed over 75 miles of multi-use trails, allowing for many self-guided hiking, mountain biking, and riding opportunities, with many more to come.

Moosalamoo National Recreation Area
One of Vermont's best-kept secrets for all who enjoy quality outdoor adventures. The 20,000 acre Moosalamoo Region including the Moosalamoo National Recreation Area (2.25MB pdf) is located in the heart of the 400,000 acre Green Mountain National Forest, stretching from the western slopes of the Green Mountains to Lake Dunmore, and from Scenic Route125 to Route 73.

Montpelier Area Mountain Bike Association (MAMBA)  organized to advocate for responsible trail use, perform trail maintenance, and secure additional riding areas in the Montpelier, Vermont area.

Sport Trails of the Ascutney Basin - The purpose of STAB is to advocate for continued accessibility of low-impact, local trails used for multiple non-motorized sports in the Vermont towns of West Windsor, Hartland, Reading, Weathersfield and Windsor.     

Stowe Mountain Bike Club  SMBC was formed to maintain and expand mountain biking opportunities in the Lamoille and Washington County area. We are a volunteer organization and look for support from riders to help with trail work, advocacy and to be good stewards of the land.

Sugarbush Ski Resort - Sugarbush Resort in Warren, VT has re-opened and added to its network of legendary mountain bike trails!

The Fellowship of the Wheel  The Fellowship maintains a series of mountain biking trails in Chittenden County ( Burlington Area).

Trapp Family Lodge 1-mile loop of beginner single-track trail, 2.5 miles of intermediate single-track trails and 10 miles of double-track beginner to intermediate trails.

Vermont Mountain Bike Advocates is a non-profit organization that promotes trail advocacy through volunteer participation in planning, funding, establishing and maintaining trails throughout Vermont. VMBA educates mountain bikers to be responsible, environmentally sensible trail users.

Burlington Bikepath   -Activities: Walking, Biking, Cross Country Skiing, In-line Skating, Fishing, Wheelchair Accessible
Length: 7.6 miles from Burlington to the Champlain Islands through the middle of Lake Champlain. This trail links with the  Island Line Rail Trail. A ferry provides transportation across the Winooski River for an additional 5.4 miles of unpaved trail. For the ferry schedule, click Local Motion.

Central Vermont Bike Touring Routes - The Central Vermont bike tours are designed for the enjoyment of the recreational cyclist. However, Central Vermont is hilly, so a reasonable level of fitness is required to truly enjoy Vermont bicycle touring.

Island Line Rail-Trail   Hop on the spectacular 13-mile rail trail along Lake Champlain. The Island Line cruises through Burlington’s waterfront, crosses a river delta via our Bike Ferry, and scoots out on the Colchester Causeway three miles into the middle of the lake! Public beaches, natural areas, and scenic vistas abound.

Local Motion - Burlington - a non-profit organization advocating for alternative transportation and developing facilities that promote walking, cycling, and in-line skating. Lake Champlain Bikeways  Bicyclists are quickly discovering some of the finest bicycling in North America along a 1,100- mile network of bicycle routes, known as Lake Champlain Bikeways, in the Lake Champlain Valley of Vermont, New York, and Québec. 

The Green Mountain Bicycle Club, formed in 1968, is the largest cycling club in Vermont, consisting of over 200 individual and family members. These enthusiasts represent a wide variety of cycling interests, among them general fitness riding, recreational riding, mountain biking, and competitive racing.
