The Russell Young Farm Bed and Breakfast is located on 70 acres of pastures and
woods on Russell Young Road in Jerusalem, Vermont. The quiet little village of
Jerusalem is located in a valley of the Green Mountain National Forest,
approximately half way up the Appalachian Gap. Jerusalem is thought to have
received it's name because it is located half way up a mountain as is the
ancient city of Jerusalem in the Holy Land. Because of its elevation, Jerusalem
offers spectacular views of the Green Mountains. When someone thinks of Vermont,
they think of mountain views, relaxing settings, and peacefulness. The Russell
Young Farm Bed and Breakfast is all of the above and more.

The farm is nestled between the White River and the Green Mountains. Hiking and
cross country ski trails start at the front door. Trout fishing along the
meadow's edge is superb. There is even a great little swimming hole, a perfect
place for a bonfire in the evening while waiting for the stars to come out.
Liberty Hill Farm has been an operating dairy farm since 1787 with a current
herd of 160 registered Holsteins. You are always welcome to come down to the
barn to watch the milking or even help feed the baby calves, or play with the
kittens. The house is all that you would expect of a 150 year old, 18 room
farmhouse--the beautiful butternut moldings in the living room, a big kitchen
where everyone congregates, and plenty of elbow room for those who just want to
relax and read.

We are a family owned and operated farm located in
the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont. Our animals are raised on the lush pastures
that grow in the shadow of Jay Peak, and lie along the banks of the Missisquoi
River. We love what we do, and love to share our passion of natural farming with
others! Our very private Guest Suite on our sheep
farm in the valley of Jay Peak is just under ten miles/minutes away from the Jay
Peak Ski area, and only steps away from VAST snowmobile trails, a quick walk
from the Missisquoi River, and surrounded by excellent hunting grounds!
