Vermont Recreation Ambassador Program

In February 2004 we launched the Vermont Recreation Ambassador Program and in our first year our Ambassadors represented Vermont and VOGA at over 50 shows around North America. The program is designed to give participants (VOGA Members), recognition for representing Vermont as a recreation vacation destination, to promote Vermont as a recreation destination and to increase public awareness of our web site.

The neat thing about this program is that we have fishermen promoting hikers and water sports, bikers promoting snowmobiling, lodges and well, you can see where I'm going with this. While in it's infancy, we are very proud of this program and it's participants.

We are also promoted by Vermont Departments of Fish and Wildlife and Tourism and Marketing at a number of travel related trade shows. Many thanks to all of the folks involved.

This year, we hope to have a presence at 70 trade shows. We'll see you on the road.
