IMPORTANT APPLICANT NOTES:

Doe Camp registration is on a first come first served basis. You do not need previous outdoor experience to attend. Each class is designed to offer hands-on experience for beginners and pros alike in a supportive environment. Participants must be at least 18 years of age. Most classes will be outside on the snow or ice so please dress comfortably and sensibly. We recommend that you bring warm waterproof boots and clothes, since classes will be held outside regardless of weather. Please read the class descriptions carefully for details on what clothing/gear and levels of physical activity and experience are expected.  More detailed information will come with you confirmation packet.

Most equipment is provided (Exceptions are noted in course descriptions). However, please feel free to bring your own equipment. Your firearms MUST be stored unloaded and kept in a locked case or with trigger lock. If you intend to fish, please bring along your 2010 fishing license.

If you intend to stay over at the Hulbert Outdoor Center, please bring your own linens for a twin sized bed or you can rent them for $10 per day. Rooms have two bunk beds and can accommodate four people. Program fee is based on this set-up and you can choose to upgrade to double occupancy for an extra fee (limited.)

Confirmation: Upon receipt of your payment, we will send you an email confirmation.  A letter listing your class choices and schedule will be sent to you as soon as it is available.  Directions and a map to the Hulbert Outdoor Center will be included.  Please consider carpooling! 

Cancellation Policy: Vermont Outdoors Woman will accept cancellation and will refund the entire amount of the registration fee if the cancellation is received before March 1st. Request for a refund must be received in writing; no phone cancellations will be accepted. Cancellations received after March 1st will be charged a $35 processing fee and Cancellations after March 11th will forfeit the entire program fee.  Substitutes are allowed. Note: If you apply for a VOW scholarship and are denied, we will refund your registration fee at your request regardless of the date.

Scholarships

There are only a limited amount of scholarships available and they will be awarded on a first come first serve basis. If you are not selected you will be contacted and given the opportunity to pay the additional amount or we will promptly refund your entire application.
Other discounts ie. camping, are not available with a scholarship.
