Sept. 13 – 15, Quimby Country 2019 Women’s Weekend
Quimby’s 2-night Women’s Weekend offers flexibility, allowing participants to design their own experience and embrace all the amenities Quimby’s has to offer, while taking advantage of professional instructors and staff. We have designed a perfect getaway weekend for you and your friends, and we look forward to sharing Quimby’s with you! September 14-15, 2019, Transition Women’s Weekend
East Burke, VT is a mecca for mountain biking in the Northeast with a great variety of trails right in town. September 15, 2019, Women Who Bird
9:00am - 11:00am, A new birding group for all women and women-aligning folks! Co-hosted by the Pride Center of Vermont.
Huntington, Vermont. Do you like to bird? Are you bird-curious? Do you love bird song? Wonderful! We’re launching a Women Who Bird group in Vermont and would love to have you join us! This is a new birding group for all women and women-aligning folks. Our first gathering will be at the Green Mountain Audubon Center in Huntington, Vermont. We will start our time together birding around the property, learning the birds around us and that are migrating south. We will use this time to learn from each other and build our birding community. Emily Kaplita, a teacher/naturalist with Audubon Vermont will provide binoculars, bird guides, and birding tips. https://vt.audubon.org/events 

September 20, Women's MTB Clinic
from 5:30 - 7:00pm, Back for summer 2019, the Craftsbury Outdoor Center is offering a series of free introductory/beginner mountain bike clinics & group rides for women. Clinics will focus on learning and honing mountain bike skills in a safe, supportive environment. Participants must be at least 18 years old. Sept 20-22, Connecticut River Women’s Kayak Trip
The 10th annual Women’s Kayak Trip on the Connecticut River is September 20-22, in the upper valley in the Orford NH area, flat moving water, from Newbury VT to Orford NH. We will base the trip out of a wonderful entire house b&b rental on the river, so there won’t be extra shuttling of boats. We have the house from Friday night-Monday morning, stay as long as you like/can. $275/person includes lodging, food, shuttling. We will split any additional lodging fee if we don’t have enough participants. $50 to rent boats and gear for the weekend. Led by kayak and canoe instructors, come with some experience in a kayak. Paddling techniques reviewed/taught on request. Jessie Krebs, survival trainer, is coming with us, with great primitive skills and tips and knowledge to share. Let us know your interests. The Vermont 50 is an annual race held during the last weekend of September at beautiful Holiday Inn Club Vacations Mount Ascutney Resort located in West Windsor, Vermont. All benefits go to Vermont Adaptive Ski and Sports. A wonderful place where youth and adults with disabilities gain a measure of self confidence and independence by participating in adaptive sports programs and activities year-round. SheJumps into Winter Activities at Frost Beer Works on Nov 14th! Join us for an evening of drinks and socializing, meeting new adventure partners, and talking about different ways to get outside this winter! Bring a friend or two and get ready to talk winter fun! Some of these sports you may have forgotten about, or never even heard of. Skijoring?! This is an open event, so feel free to come by for as little or as long as you can. This event is 21+ due to the location, but everyone and anyone over 21 are welcome to join us!
