Vermont Horseback Trail Rides, Lessons and Wagon Rides

Vermont has a surprisingly large number of horses and equestrian programs for such a small state. There are about 75,000 horses on Vermont and riding stables are scattered around the state. From trail rides and stables to camping vacations with your own horses, you can find the information on this page. We also list tack shops, wagon and sleigh rides and riding trails. Equine-Guided Horsemanship & Riding
Embodied leadership, cohesive partnership and full awareness is crucial to a rider’s success and seat of power. Lessons in Equine-Guided Horsemanship & Riding are the perfect way to supercharge – or simply explore – your horse connection, leadership and riding potential.  If you are seeking to improve your riding, if you want to connect or re-connect with horses in a slow-paced, safe and authentic partnership, if you feel drawn to be with horses and not sure where to begin, if you have a child who is attuned to nature and animals — then you have found the right place at Horses & Pathfinders.
