Vermont Adventure Tours offers courses in Primitive Living, Survival, Wilderness Medicine Certification, Intro to Mountaineering, Winter Living, Cold Weather Survival, Orienteering & Land Navigation, Leave No Trace: Trainer Certification. Winter programs include Intro Ice Climbing, Advanced Ice Climbing, Snowshoe Tours, Winter Hikes, Winter Camping and Cold Weather Survival Skills.

The American Canoe Association (ACA) is a national nonprofit organization serving the broader paddling public by providing education related to all aspects of paddling, stewardship support to help protect paddling environments, and sanctioning of programs and events to promote paddlesport competition, exploration, and recreation.
