Lake Champlain Paddlers' Trail - The mission of the Lake Champlain Paddlers' Trail is to develop and maintain a trail for human-powered boats and to encourage managed access and responsible, safe recreation.
Lamoille River Paddlers Trail - The Lamoille River Paddlers’ Trail is an emerging, community effort to develop new opportunities for paddling and fishing along the Lamoille River.
Northern Forest Canoe Trail - The entire 700-mile length of the NFCT is passable now. It connects or has access to every major drainage in the northeast, and traverses a diversity of waterways, each historically significant to the region’s development.
The Connecticut River Paddlers' Trail - New England’s longest waterway, the Connecticut River, provides many opportunities for recreational exploration.
Connecticut River Joint Commissions, 13 maps show 70 access sites to the river in NH and VT, to help you enjoy this American Heritage River.
Green River Reservoir, Located in the towns of Eden and Hyde Park includes approximately 5200 acres around the reservoir. Vermont's largest body of water dedicated to non motorized recreation as well as the longest stretch of undeveloped shoreline in the State. Camping!
The Passumpsic River Paddlers’ Trail: A “spur” to the Connecticut River, the Passumpsic is a popular destination for day trips in VT’s Northeast Kingdom. Work is underway to improve access and develop guides for visitors.
The Waterbury Reservoir is a rich ecological and recreational resource bordered by State forest lands, two State Parks, and private lands located in central Vermont in the United States. The surface water spreads an impressive 860 acres and is 6 ½ miles long from end to end.
The White River Paddlers’ Trail. Vermont’s longest undammed river, the White provides fine paddling opportunities with few portages. VRC has been active in helping conserve lands and assisting with improvement projects. The White River Partnership is coordinating this project.
